Blues Clues Party...
For my son's 2nd birthday I planned a blues clues party. I made a blues Clues cake and blue punch to drink and all the party games as well as most of the party favors. For the games the kids played Mr. Salt And Mrs. Pepper bean bag toss. I made the bean bags using felt and hot glued them together and put faces on them and filled with uncooked rice. Then I took a red plastic pail and yellow shovel and added details so that they looked like shovel and pail, the object of the game was to place Mr. salt or Mrs. pepper on shovel and using shovel toss them into pail. Another game was pin the flag on mail box. I made a 3-d mail box ,or you could buy a paper mache one and paint it, and then I made flags that the kids had to pin on the mail box. There was also a ball toss on tickey he was made out of felt and velcro was added to ping pong balls so they would stick to tickety. We also had slippery's ring toss. Where I took a towel roll and covered it in felt and attached slippery soap to the front and you had to get the ring down over slippery. For a goody bag I tool red 16 oz plastic cups and punched holes on the side to attach handles and place a face on the cup out of felt also attached to the side was shovel made out of yellow craft foam with details added with permanent markers. For prizes there were toilet paper roll kazoos, as well as toilet paper roll button toss game, and bubbles that I placed a picture of slippery soap on the front, we also had the handy dandy note book made out of card stock yellow construction paper and red foam wire. Inside the goody pail was a blues clues frame made out of card stock, blues clues snacks and fruit roll ups, a bean bag of either blue, magenta, or green puppy made from felt and features added with puffy paint. There were also straws with a paw print on them. everybody had fun
