I wrote this up from my notes and the party time line, so the English is stretched but all the info is here.  My daughter was turning 4 and all 6 kids had a wonderful time! This party started with the How to Host a Kids Party Box.  It came with postcard invitations, idea cards for food, games & crafts, stencils of BC characters, etc. For more ideas & supplies I used birthdayexpress.com Decorations: Draw chalk paw prints on the sidewalk, balloons on walls, streamers, decorate table with bits of curling ribbon, put out crayon box. Put banner on dining room table made from butcher paper & I traced characters from a BC coloring book onto it. While you wait…Color banner in the dining room.  This gave the first couple of kids something to do until the others arrived and left my daughter free to greet her guests. Once all the kids arrived I handed out notebooks & crayons, and described the game plan.  Show the paw prints so they know what they are looking for and told them we would be going from room to room for different activities, but first they needed to:  Become a dog! face paint: noses blue & wiskers;  Make collars from felt strips with Velcro & jewels to glue stick on and those paper key chain things car dealers use as name tags. Make "ear" head bands: the kids colored spots I had drawn on felt ears with crayon and then glue sticked the felt pieces to the sides of a headband to look like blue…  Activity OneTake pictures of each kid in the thinking chair & make photo frames:  I had precut blue paper to fit a 4x6 photo with felt bits that the kids drew swirls on and stickers.  Snacks: cookies & peanut pretzels in a dog dish.  While at activity on the kids found Clue One:  the cookies After Activity Two (Pin flag on mailbox, purchased) they found Clue Two: a rubber dog bone sitting on the floor with a paw print on it. Activity ThreeOpen presents: matching game: Each child who brought a gift pulled a memory card (we have a BC memory game)from a basket while my daughter sat in the thinking chair and she pulled the first memory card from a different basket. That's who's present was opened first, then that child pulled the next card. They found Clue Three:the oven. What does Blue want to do?  Make bone shaped cookies (oven, cookies, bone), so we did….  Refrigerated cookie dough and dog bone shaped cookie cutters. Then is was time to eat cake, (BC cups/plates, paw print cake, blue raspberry ice cream from Baskin Robbins, (softened & scooped with cookie dough scooper (smaller than regular ice cream scoop) onto cookie sheet and then refroze for easy hand out) and blue Kool-Aid). Closing Activity:  Watch Blues video until the parents came, when they did, my daughter said thank you and gave them their treat bucket. Treat bucket was a kids sand bucket ($0.99) with face drawn like shovel & pail with a marker.  I included copies of BC print outs from Nickjr.com & crayons, light blue & blue M&Ms, star shaped sun glasses, pencil, stickers and they took their cookie home that they made. For Thankyou notes, I cut the center out of the frames each child made and inserted their picture in the thinking chair and wrote our thank-you inside.
