Blue's Clues 4yrs: I came to this site for ideas, and thought I'd submit what we'll be doing for my son's 4th birthday. \* all the guests (and parents) are to dress in blue.. my son will be dressed as Steve. \* serving blue 'cinnamon' ice cream (let vanilla get room temp, then add blue food coloring & cinnamon, mix and refreeze), 7UP with blue Kool-Aid icecubes(to avoid blue drink spill stains), blue's macncheese(with mixed veggies added),deviled eggs with 'paprika' \*handy dandy notebook cake. square cake: frost top in neon green with red frosting thinking chair, pipe black around edge, yellow sides, and pipe black around bottom edge. red licorice strings cut short and stuck in top edge to make 'spiral' \* I found the silly straw glasses that 'face' wears between shows..got one for each child to drink with(and  keep) \*  Craft #1,'skidoo fridge frames':cut out (in advance) rectangular frames from yellow craft foam(large enough for photo, spirals and squiggles from yellow craft foam, have 4 flat magnets for each frame.  Let kids glue the spirals on the frames (have copy of the frame from the site or magazine for them to see), then glue the magnets on the back four corners.  \*craft#2,'handy dandy notebooks': cut out(in advance) two neon green and three yellow squares from poster board and one red thinking chair (per child), prepunch holes along top of all, have them draw black square on front, spiral red pipcleaners through all the holes, and glue on thinking chairs inside their squares..much more fun than buying premade ones \*take pictures of each kid in thinking chair and send with thank you card (to put in their fridge skidoo frame) \*appliance (stove, dishwasher etc) box painted to look like Steve's house, with doors and windows cut out...to play in \*print out 'you can do anything that you want to do' certificates for each ...I have one more month to come up with ideas for his party. after, I'll post what else we came up with, and how it worked out. hope my ideas help others!
