Blue's Clues for a 2-year-old For my daughter's second birthday we celebrated with Blue. The invitations were printed off my pc and included a picture of Blue on the cover. I had a few
different stations set up to keep the little ones entertained. There was a face painting table, were I used face painting markers to draw paw prints on their faces. The markers made this a
lot easier and quicker to get the toddlers faces painted. Another table had printable that I copied from various locations on my pc, and a few boxes of crayons. The table the kids had the
most fun at was the one where they made their own party hats with cut outs of Blue and friends, stickers, and streamers; which was easy for them to glue onto pre-cut pieces of colored
construction paper. I just cut the paper in half length-wise and glued the ends together on one side the night before; and then glued the other end together when the children finished
decorating them. They snacked on "puppy chow" a recipe taken from a box of chex cereal which includes: chocolate chips, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and the cereal. Really easy to
prepare. Blues cookies, Blues gummy treats, and blue juice were added to the menu to stick with the theme. The children had fun playing pin the paw print on Blue, which I downloaded from
nickjr.com and glued to posterboard. They had a waterballoon fight, caught blue bubbles on white construction paper in an attempt to see who came closest to making a paw print, and played
other party games in which they all won prizes. They broke open the Blue dog pinata and filled their bags with goodies at the end of the party. For her cake I bought one at a nearby bakery
with a colorful background and placed my own toys of Blue and her friends, I purchased at Wal-Mart, on top. My daughter had a wonderful time and two months later she still talks about her
"Boos Coos Party".
