I am having a Blue's clues Birthday party for my boy/girl twins who will be  2 in September. I sent out Handy Dandy Notebooks as invitations. I printed them out on my computer. They Asked " Can you figure out what Blue has invited you to, by these 3 clues?.  The 3 clues were a birthday cake, the # 2, and a pic of my twins. Next to the time was a pic of tickety, and next to my address was a pic af Steve's house. I have one of those machines that puts the spiral binder on. When you walk up my driveway you will see Blue's paw prints with each child's name on them. On my gate entering the back yard I have built "Steve and Blue's house" out of foam board.  I spray painted it and stapled it together. I have the Thinking chair, so when each child arrives they will have their pic taken in the thinking chair with a dress up Blue  in front of Steve's house.  I have made little frames on the computer (made out of cardstock)that say "Me and Blue" to attach the Polaroid to.(as part of their favor) I have someone to paint paw prints on all the kids faces. The centerpieces will be red pails and yellow shovels filled with sand.  Sticking out of the pails will be all the characters from the show (printed out on the computer) glued to little sticks. Also I have pics of my twins with a Blue's Clues background that will also be in it.  The sand is great because it weighs down the pail and the sticks won't move. There will be 2 cakes(one for each birthday child) one will be the paw print. (a round cake with 3 or 4 cupcakes iced with blue icing) , and a sheet cake with Steve's house that I have made from cardstock, with all the plastic characters (available at Toys r us)around it. I will lay green cellophane on the top of the cake to look like grass and also so that the house doesn't get cake on it. The favors will be pails and shovels will Blue's Clues party favors in them..  Blue zipper pulls, handy Dandy notebooks, Slippery bubbles, Blue ink pad wristbands, Blue lollipops, Blue fruit roll ups. All of these items I have found in party stores, wall mart and target. All very inexpensive.
