My 3 year old daughter loves Blue's Clues, so for her birthday we had a Blue's Clues theme.
For the invitations, I first took a picture of my daughter and scanned this onto my computer and from there I printed her picture on sticker paper. I then took blue construction paper and on the front I drew three good size paw prints. In the middle of the first paw print I put the sticker with my daughter's picture on it, the second paw print I drew a picture of a cake and on the third paw print I drew a picture of balloons. The inside read: "Did you guess the clue? It's (child's name) Birthday!" Then I listed the date and time and location of the party. For the decorations I purchased dark blue table paper table clothes and then I took light blue paint and a medium and small sponge and sponged paw prints all over it. I hung dark blue and light blue streamers & balloons all over the place. I also purchased a Blue's Clues coloring book and I glued the pictures onto pieces of cardboard and then I colored the pictures and cut them out. I then hole punched the top and attached a blue piece of ribbon to it and hung these pictures from the ceiling in between the streamers. I also took blue chalk and drew paw prints all over the patio floor. The cake was easy, I just took the idea from the video "Blue's Birthday" and I made a big round cake and four cup cakes and frosted them blue and then placed the paw prints around the top of the cake so it would resemble a paw print. When the guest arrived, I had purchased blue face paint and I painted paw prints on the children's cheeks. For the games most of the children were to small to play actual Blue's Clues games, so we played pin the tail on Blue ( I made this game myself out of a piece of poster board which I drew Blue onto and then out of blue construction paper and cut out the tails). We also played find the clues. I took paw print stickers that actually came from a box of Blue's Clues Valentine cards and I placed these on the backs of chairs, on the swingset, on plant leaves, etc., and the child that found the most "clues" won. We then played Blue's Clues bingo. I also made this game by making my own bring cards with pictures of Steve, Blue, Magenta, Shovel & Pail, etc. We also had a Blue piņata and a Blue Bounce House for the kids to play in. For a craft I bought all the kids a small shovel and pail. And I purchased those wiggle eyes at my local craft store. I then had the kids glued the eyes on these and we then painted black mouths on them. This way each child had their very own Shovel & Pail. We finished off the party by watching "Blue's Birthday" on TV. When the children left I filled up their "Pail" with Blue's Clues stickers, blue suckers and other blue candy and gum, a notebook and green crayon. This was a great party and all the kids had a great time.
