I had a Blue's Clue's theme for my 2 year old daughter, but I incorporated Magenta into theme as much as Blue. First, I made the entrance to my home just like the front of Blue's. I covered
the house with yellow plastic sheeting, the door with purple and the windows were red posterboard cutouts drawn like windows with curtains. We had the doggy door and the flowers and the
squiggly doodles on roof. I took an old mailbox, spray painted it purple and used colored craft foam and wiggly eyes to make "mailbox". It also had balloons tied to it and birthday
cards were put in. The party decorations were mixed with magenta cups, napkins and plates as well as utensils. The cake was magenta color instead of blue, and we used the character cake pan
by wilton. We had a Blue's Clue's moonwalk to coordinate perfectly. I let my daughter sit in the "thinking chair" to open gifts and then allowed each guest to sit in it for a photo
with a stuffed "Magenta" in front of the house. The party favors were put in "shovel and pail". I took red cups and cut/glued craft foam smiles in yellow and drew on eyes
and used pipecleaners for handles. The shovels were made out of bright yellow spoons with the face drawn on the inside of the spoon and sticking out of pail. (This was in November so real
shovel and pails were out of season)I made cupcakes and put in Blues' themed holders and Blue's Clues' fruit snacks on top which I went through and used just the "paw print" or
"magenta". There were paw prints starting at driveway and up walk and along fenceline. Balloons were everywhere. The thinking chair piņata is available online. I served blue
Kool-Aid and blue Kool-Aid bursts. The piņata bags were clear with blues clues stickers all over. I used the big puzzles they have out and the buddy characters you can buy for table
decorations.(you could use these on the cake as well)My daughter was in a magenta striped Steve shirt and her brother who is 5 wore a Steve outfit(khaki pants and Steve shirt). It was a big
hit and the kids loved it all. I sent the photos of each guest to them with thank you notes from Blue, Magenta and my daughter.
