Kids Birthday
Party Supplies

Last year for my 4 year old birthday party we did the Blue's Clues theme.  I had games centered around the party room.  We had about 24 kids and the games were set up to have 4-6 children participating.  They would move on to another game when they finished one game. I also recruited 5 helpers to supervise or run each game. I bought the "pin the flag on the mailbox" game. I made a bingo game for 6 players by placing blue's clues stickers onto the grid of bingo cards and placing the matching stickers on a large foam die.  We used 3 blue cups decorated with blue's clues stickers and played "where is the prize" by letting the player see you place the prize under one of the cups and mixing the cups up slowly enough for successful winning. They got the prize if they chose the right cup the prize was under. All the games had prizes to win. I also created a craft using a paper plate and pre-cut numbers, face, hands.  The children glued the parts on the paper plate to make tickety tock (a sample was provided to copy.)  Every child got a blue's clue handy dandy notebook and we played "Let's find blue's clues."  After asking what does Blue want to do next? I provided three clues:  A long stick, a bandana, and candy. The children guessed that Blue wanted to hit the piņata.   A friend of mine helped with decorations by blowing up a picture of Blue onto a poster board and coloring it. I made one round cake and used 4 cupcakes all frosted with the "blue" color to create blue's pawprint.  All the children were given cupcakes to eat and the adults got slices of the round cake.  All the partyware were the Blue's Clues theme for the children.  I bought the cheaper plates and cups for the adults that matched the blue color.    Everyone who attended was impressed with how much work was put into the planning and implementing.  I had great fun planning it and the children all had a blast.
