Here is a little twist to a Blue's Clues Party.  I did this for my son's 2nd birthday (About 2 weeks ago). I made paw print invitations using construction paper and printed the invite by using the computer. I glued the actual invite on the back of the paw print. The invite was fill in the the blanks for the child's name & the location. (I left a few of the letters in to help them out), I drew tickety tock for the time and had them wear blue from head to toe. The twist was that this was a Blues Clues water park adventure! I then put the invitations inside a tube, with blue wrapped candy, blue balloons, confetti & curling ribbon, so when they opened it they got a great surprise! My son helped my put Blues Clues stickers on the outside and I printed labels off the computer and the return address was Austin's Blues Clues Water Park! For decorations: I made a sign for my lawn that welcomed each guest to Austin's Blues Clues Water Park and Slip N Slide on in,with a poster board picture of Blue holding the sign with a huge bouquet of blue balloons. As they walked up to the front door there were large blue paw prints with each kids name that said "Welcome" at the door was a sig nthats said "Blues Clues water park, right this way" I also made 4 hand drawn pictures of Blue on Blue Poster board and it look like he was holding all of the signs. There was a sign that had admission prices: It read Blues Clues water park open from 1:00pm to until you get water logged, all park attractions are currently opened, Adult prices: apetite for fun, children prices: Blue from head to toe and smiles from ear to ear! So slip on in and help Austin celebrate his wet & wild party! When they got inside they got puppy ears I made, there were Blues Clues characters on the walls, paw prints on the floor, Blues clues music playing, In the backyard there was Blue balloons, streamers, tablecloths, etc.. I had 4 mini blue plastic pools 1 Large pool, 1 large pool with a slide, a slip n slide, a bucket of waterballoons and a beach area set up. They went at it and had a blast! We played paw print search, balloon pop with their heads, pass Blue, blues clues,shovel and pail toss, costume contest (With the most Blue), etc.. I made a paw print cake (It turned out great!), blue cupcakes, puppy chow, dog bone treats, caramel apple towers (Blue apples), dog bone ice cream and raspberry (Magenta), We had a hotdog bar, potato salad, baked beans, etc.. Oh don't forget the Blues Clues fruit snacks!, blue lollipops & blue jelly beans. I also had blue bubbles set up for the small kids and blue balls for them to also play with. I had pails and shovels on the tables with the snacks in them and on the food table when we ate, and thats what they used to serve themselves with. He also had a Blue Pinata it was great! For favors: I bought mini pails and shovels and filled them with blue bubbles, blue playdoh, blue lollipops, I made handy dandy notebooks, Certificates, big crayon, magnifying glasses, whistles, sand toys, etc. ! My son and all his friends had a really great time! I hope this helps you!
