For my son's 3rd Birthday he was a HUGE Clifford fan.  So we decided to celebrate in a BIG way, clifford style.  For Decorations in the house we started with out front.  I placed huge dog prints which I created with red construction paper and crayon. I placed them in a trail from the front sidewalk, up the driveway, up the walk way to the front door.  I used a regrigerator box to make a dog house cut out and put it over the door with welcome to clifford's dog house" on it.  I took a wading pool covered it with red tissue paper and but "clifford's Dog Dish" on it with black letters this is where the guests placed the gifts for the birthday boy.  The rest of the house was decorated with lots of red yellow and blue steamers and of course RED balloons. Some of the red balloons were turned into clifford by drawing a face on the front and taping red construction paper ears on the sides. For party hats I made head bands made from construction paper.  I took coloring book pictures of Clifford Tbone and Chleo and used them as my templates. The boy guest wore Tbone head bands the girls Chleo and the Birthday Boy wore Clifford.  We served Pizza for lunch which I cut into dog bone shaped slices salads and sugar cookies that were dog head and bone shaped. I made the cake with clifford on it and little dog bone sugar candies (like runtz).  I took the red SOLO cups decorated them to match the clifford balloons that I made and filled them with dog and clifford themed goodies and toys and the extra sugar cookies.  The party was great and a memorable one at that.
