I would like to share ideas from my son's 2nd Birthday party.We went with the theme Clifford the Big Red Dog.First off,I purchased all the Clifford supplies like cups.plates,napkins,invitations,balloons and etc.I made each person invited to the party a Clifford Birthday shirt and I handed them out with the invitations.All invitations had a Clifford return address label.The color of the decorations were red,yellow and blue.For tables I switched about on tableclothes red,yellow,blue,red & etc.I got a dog paw stamp from Wal-mart and I stamped some dog paws on the tableclothes.On each table had a Clifford toy.We hung streamer and balloons from the ceiling.I alos stamped dog paw prints on the balloons.We had dog paw prints leading into the Rescue Squad Building and also inside.A friend of mine made a Clifford no smoking sign for me to put on the entrance door.It had a really cute verse onit and she also made Clifford boys and girls bathroom signs.As guest came I handed them a dog bone shaped name tag.As for food we had Clifford cake,chips,chex mix,fruit platter,vegetable platter and drinks.We didn't play any games,because alot of the kids were smaller,what we done was took alot of my son's Clifford toys to the party and section off a toy area space.The kids enjoyed playing.In each party favor bag was Clifford Candybar,Clifford lollipop,Clifford bubbles,Clifford fruit snackes,Clifford coloring book,Clifford crayons,Clifford fruit juice,Clifford party horn,Clifford hi-bounce ball.The candy bar,lollipop,crayons were all personalized labels I had them made.The bubbles were small wedding bubbles with a Clifford label on them.Everyone including adults got a party bag.We had lots of fun.
