Clifford Birthday Party. My daughter turned 2 years old last January. She loves the Clifford books and the new PBS shows. For her birthday, we had a Clifford Party. Birthday
supplies, such as plates napkins, tablecloth, etc., were purchased from the Internet. Then we made decorations by downloading coloring pages from the PBS website.
We also had the Clifford birthday coloring page one for each guest which each child colored for their own Clifford place mat. In keeping with the red theme, each child made their own pizza by kneading and shaping the dough, adding red sauce, and the mozzarella cheese. While they baked, the children colored and then we watched a taped episode of Clifford. For dessert we had a Clifford with a birthday hat cake made by a local bakery. For more excitement, I made a game, "Oh no where did Clifford's tail go?" which is like the pin the tail on the donkey. I laminated the large Clifford and enough tails for each child. The party bags were red and stuffed with homemade red playdough, a dog and dog bone cookie cutters, and an individually selected Clifford book. We had a great time!
