My son is crazy about football and we live in a town that is crazy about college football, so we had a football party. I heard all of my sons friends say was the funnest party they had ever been to. We decided to have a BSU football tailgate birthday party.  We were able to get four of the actual players to come for this party and they each wore their jerseys.  My husband built an upright out of PVC pipe and the boys all played football with the BSU players. They had such a great time.  While they were playing, we were cooking hot dogs and brats on the grill and had chips and vegetables and soda for the lunch. I made a cake that looked like the infamous BSU football field with the blue turf and all. The boys loved it.  For party favors we gave each of the boys blow horns that they were able to have signed by the players. We took a big group picture of all of the boys with the players and adhered them to card stock. My son used the back of them for thank you notes to send to all of his friends so each guest was able to have a picture of themselves and the football players to remember this great birthday.
