Magic School Bus Party - Real Bus

My son is in LOVE with the Magic School Bus TV show and books. Of course he had to have a Magic School Bus party!

First, we sent out invitations with Ms. Frizzle inviting the guests to come on an adventure. We decorated a large room with pictures of the Magic School Bus students. 

When the kids arrived, each received a yellow bus driver cap with their name and a picture from the Magic School Bus. This helped us keep track of the crowd. The best part: we rented a school bus! The children had a ball sitting on the bus for storytime and songs.

A wonderful storyteller from the local bookstore dressed up as Ms. Frizzle and led the kids on a magical treasure hunt. The surprise: Liz the lizard! I made a 3-d bus cake complete with bagel wheels!

Snacks were piled in empty milk cartons we covered with yellow paper and decorated to resemble the bus. Coloring fun completed the day. Each kid received a yellow party bag filled with a bus eraser, goodies and a Magic School Bus book.
