Honorable Mention
For our twin daughters first birthday we had a Raggedy Ann and Andy party. I had found some stationary that had Raggedy Ann on it. With our computer, I printed Can you believe that our two rag dolls are turning one and then it had the rest of the info needed about the party: (the Who, what, when, where, & why)
I selected the colors: red, green, blue and yellow to accent the party. I had found two plaid table cloth on clearance and had them monogrammed with the girls initials so they would have them for a keepsake. They covered the tables.
I use several Raggedy Ann and Andy figures and dolls for centerpieces and for weights for the balloons. I had collected Raggedy Ann and so I had several. I had also borrowed some for friends.
For the cakes we had them put a picture of Raggedy Ann on each cake. (Three total one for each girl and then one for everyone else) We served red banana punch in blue cups.
I had also purchased green plates, red forks, and yellow napkins.
To top off the whole event of turning one we took the girls to the Raggedy Ann and Andy Festival in Arcola, Il later the next month. They got to have their picture taken with a life size Raggedy Ann.
They loved it and so did everyone else who attended.
