My friend's daughter wanted to have a slumber scrapbooking party for her 9th. I am a true scrapper. So I found on clearance Kodak kids scrapbooking kits for $5.00 (came with a 12x12 scrapbook, 1 pr of design scissors, paper, stickers and glue stick) We found 5 of them, just enough.
Then we designed the birthday invitations out of blue & white card stock. We used the blue for the binder and the white for 2 pages on the inside. On the outside of the card we cut tiny squares and on each on wrote the letters to spell "Scrappin Memories"
Then jumbled the letters on the front with a die cut of a birthday cake in the center. We held the card and inside paper together with eyelets on the outside. Then on the first page wrote " Courtney invites you to her 9th Birthday party" then matted it on printed paper to look as if it was a scrapbook page done. The second page obtained all of the information also done on printed paper to look like another scrapbooking page.
Each girl was asked to bring 7-10 pictures. Goody bags was put at each girls place that contained stickers, gum, lip gloss and candy. The girls will be able to pick additional paper patterns that were purchased.
A table is set up for cutting tools, punches and die cuts. Each were given a made up bingo card with different task, ie. Do a page using a die cut or do one page using the circle punch and once they have a bingo by completing 3 task in a line, they will be given a gift. There were snacks and cake.
